JAYDA NOVAK
Managing Producer

Jayda doesn't really know how to describe what she does, so she usually just calls it production. She has worked in theatre, broadcast and conferences for the past 10 years and has produced events such as the UBC Pep Rally and Opening Ceremonies, TED (2016-2019), TEDSummit, TEDGlobal, TEDWomen. She has also stage managed for Itsazoo Productions, UBC Theatre and The UBC Players Club, co-founded Quimera Theatre Collective, and started her own company- Jayda Paige Photography. Currently she is a Senior Producer for TED Conferences LLC, Co-Managing Producer of Wunderdog Theatre and spends what free time she can find in coffee shops and on mountaintops when pandemics aren't rampant. As a podcast and story enthusiast, IRIS means a great deal to her, and she is thrilled and humbled to be working with the remarkable Wunderdog team.

MADELAINE WALKER

Madelaine has always been invested in storytelling and its connection to the audience. She started in theatre at the age of six and never looked back. In the past, she has produced for the UBC Players Club, and stage managed several indie productions, including I Am For You with Wunderdog at the 2017 Vancouver Fringe. Since then, she has continued to produce with Wunderdog Theatre, as well as directed for Brave New Play Rites, The Cascadia Festival, and the Seeing Things Festival. She is currently the Events & Facilities Manager of Performance Works with the Granville Island Theatre District, and intends to continue as a director-producer hyphenate for theatre and podcasting.. In her spare time, she is working her way through reading as many Robin Hobb novels as possible, and playing Dungeons and Dragons with her friends.
